Who we are and what this policy covers

Economic Media LLC (“Economic Media,” “we,” “us”) is a performance marketing agency for financial publishers and companies raising capital, located at 1053 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, CT 06032. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information through economicmedia.com (the “Site”) and through our business communications, including our contact form and business-to-business email outreach.

This policy does not cover the websites, emails, or text messages of the consumer brands we operate, including Invested Alpha, StartupHunter, and Tracking Traders. Those brands have their own privacy policies, which govern information collected from their readers and subscribers.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form or communicate with us, we collect the information you provide, such as your first and last name, email address, company name, company type, phone number, and the contents of your message.

Business contact information from other sources. For business outreach, we may collect business contact information about people at companies that may be interested in our services, such as name, job title, company, business email address, and business phone number. We obtain this information from public sources, including company websites and professional networking sites, from business data providers, and from referrals.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, referring URL, and the date and time of your visit, to deliver and secure the Site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools on the Site. If that changes, we will update this policy.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries and requests; evaluate and discuss potential engagements; send business outreach and follow-up communications about our services; manage relationships with clients, prospects, and partners; operate, secure, and improve the Site; and comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

Business email outreach and opting out

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:

We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining business relationships and meeting legal, accounting, and record-keeping requirements. We keep opt-out records for as long as necessary to honor your request.
